Susceptance of a line

Category articles

The susceptance of a line can be dependent on its capacitance. The capacitance results from the superposition of partial capacitances that exist between the phases, and between the phases and each other. The line’s capacitance is determined by the height of the wires as well as the geometric mean distance between them and the diameter of the wire. Lines that have the conductors that are bonded is higher. The capacitance that is used to work for one phase is determined using the formula.

susceptance

where: C – unit working capacitance for one conductor in F/km.
