Renesas Wireless Power Charging Technology Is Integrated in Wacom Active ES® Pen Solutions

Renesas Electronics Corporation (TSE: 77323) is a leading supplier of innovative semiconductor solutions, has made public its announcement that the company’s wireless technology for charging has been included in Wacom’s Active ES pen solutions from Wacom, a pioneer in modern technology for digital ink and pen solutions. Its Renesas one-chip power source IC has a small footprint and high efficiency in comparison to other high-frequency charging options. Renesas’ wireless charging technology is small enough to fit in a digital pen devices and allows you to charge the pen wirelessly when connected onto the tablet.

Incorporating wireless charging with low frequency in the Active ES(r) pen opens up new possibilities. This innovative and novel idea allows wireless charging for accessories which allows users to express their creativity using tablets and smartphones.
