Mouser Electronics, Inc. is the global authorized distributor for the latest semiconductors and electronic parts. They now stock the new Sterling-LWB+ module from Laird Connectivity. The Wi-Fi 4 (802.11b/g/n), and Bluetooth(r) 5.2.2 Low Energy-enabled products are specifically designed for next-generation Internet of Things, (IoT), products such as battery-powered medical devices and industrial IoT sensors.

Laird Connectivity Sterling LWB+ modules are available from Mouser Electronics. They are powered by Infineon AIROC CyW43439 chipset solutions. This solution supports reliable and secure performance for industrial IoT settings. It also supports a full range of industrial temperatures (-40°C to +85°C). The secure, high-performance SDIO solution integrates a Wi-Fi 4 radio with software drivers and support. This allows for easy integration with any Linux or Android-based system. These modules can be used in conjunction with the Sterling-LWB module mechanically and pin. This allows for an easier upgrade path for existing designs.

Sterling-LWB+ modules are compatible with the most recent WPA3 security standards. The devices’ integrated power amplifiers and low-noise amp (LNA), ensure reliable connectivity in difficult RF environments. The Sterling-LWB+ devices are available with either an on-board chip antenna or a MHF connector for an external antenna, which can connect to range of Laird Connectivity-certified internal antennas. Mouser also has the Sterling LWB+ Development Kit, which is available with an on-board or MHF antenna. This kit can be used for evaluation and development. These modules can be certified to FCC and ISED certifications, CE, UKCA registration, RCM and Bluetooth SIG registrations, which speeds up time to market.
