AAEON is a manufacturer of high-end embedded solutions has extended its range of fanless embedded PCs powered by the 12th generation of Intel(r) Core(tm)/Celeron(r) processors (formerly Alder Lake-P U15) with the launch of BOXER 6451 ADP.

The smallest chassis in AAEON’s trio of brand new box PCs that utilize the most recent Intel technology. The BOXER-6451-ADP comes with 12 threads and 10 cores of processing power within a compact 7.48″ x 4.37″ and 2.5″ (190mm wide x 110mm 63.5mm x 63.5mm) version. AAEON believe that this will assist in bringing small, flexible solutions like smart kiosks, smart charging stations and charging stations to the market quickly and easily.

To enhance the BOXER-6451’s ability to be used in smaller spaces for deployment is its new and innovative heat dissipation system that has seen AAEON replace the tubular pipe that is typically used to transfer the heat from a computer’s CPU to the heatsink by an elongated pipe that can increase the conduction area and speed up the transfer of heat. This allows the system to keep temperatures during periods that are characterized by high load.

Despite its compact size, it is a compact device. BOXER-6451-ADP is packed with high-speed I/O that includes 3 USB 3.2 ports operating at 10Gbps, a 2.5 GbE Ethernet LAN port and four COM ports that have support for RS-232/422/485. In conjunction with the most recent Intel technologies like Intel(r) IPU 6.0 and Intel(r) DL Boost, the BOXER-6451-ADP is an ideal solution for those that require high-speed connectivity to peripheral devices like AMR.

The BOXER-6451-ADP provides an upgrade to its predecessors in the series BOXER-6400 in terms of expansion. 5G, Wi-Fi, as well as NVMe are all supported by M.2 E B M Keys and M Keys, which AAEON believes will give greater flexibility in deployment options for industrial applications like robot arms.

The BOXER-6451-ADP’s combination of high processing power, compact size, and advanced I/O options make it an attractive choice for industrial applications that require real-time processing and high-speed connectivity. Its small form factor also makes it an excellent fit for deployment in spaces with limited room. The innovative heat dissipation system that AAEON has incorporated into the device further enhances its ability to operate under high loads without overheating, providing enhanced reliability and durability. With support for the latest technologies like 5G, Wi-Fi, and NVMe, the BOXER-6451-ADP represents a significant upgrade to its predecessors in the BOXER series and is well-positioned to meet the evolving needs of industrial applications in the coming years.
